Always make those above you feel comfortably superior.
In your desire to please or impress them, do not go too far in displaying your talents or you might accomplish the opposite – inspire fear and insecurity.
Make your masters appear more brilliant than they are and you will attain the heights of power.

Where I Agree -
>Always make those above you feel comfortable superior. There are two types of authorities, positional & personal.
Positional authority gives your superior to feel superior to you.
> Make your masters appear more brilliant than they are....
EGO boost. This is true for everyone you meet, not just your superiors. But in the case of superiors it takes on a whole different hue!
here is the link. Boss feel brilliant > She feel happy > She share joy > You are joyful!
Where I Disagree-
In your desire to please or impress them, do not go too far in displaying your talents or you might accomplish the opposite – inspire fear and insecurity.
Do not display your talents to impress or please your boss, but to alleviate her pain. Everyone of us has some pain points, something things that if taken care of, we silently or out loud thank the person who took away the pain.
If you have the skill to take the pain away, use it!
It will make you indispensable
